CNC Machinist

Set up and run Haas CNC work for oilfield and general industrial parts.
Stellar is hiring a CNC machinist for the southeast Edmonton shop. You will set up, run, and inspect production and one-off work on Haas machines.
What you will do
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes from drawings and travelers
- Hold threads, tolerances, and finishes the field will accept
- Check first articles and in-process work before the part leaves the vise
- Work with the floor on API threading, pup joints, crossover subs, and general industrial jobs
What you bring
- 3+ years of CNC machining, preferably oilfield or heavy industrial work
- Comfort reading drawings, thread specs, and material callouts
- Pride in the part that leaves the shop, not just the cycle time
Manual Machinist

One-off, repair, and prototype work on manual machines when CNC is not the right method.
We need a manual machinist who can take a drawing, a worn part, or a rush repair and make the right call on the floor.
What you will do
- Machine one-off and prototype parts on manual mills and lathes
- Handle repairs, fit-up, and alternative methods when the job is not a production run
- Work alongside CNC operators on mixed oilfield and general industrial work
- Keep quality honest — ISO 9001:2015 is how the shop runs
What you bring
- 5+ years of manual machining
- Experience with oilfield connections or close-tolerance industrial parts is an asset
- A steady hand and a clear sense of when a part is done right
Quality Inspector

Inspect production and one-off work to ISO 9001:2015 before it ships.
Stellar ships parts the field can trust. The quality inspector is the last honest check before a job leaves the floor.
What you will do
- Inspect first articles, in-process work, and finished parts
- Verify threads, dimensions, and finishes against the drawing
- Keep inspection records to the ISO 9001:2015 system
- Flag problems early so the floor can correct them
What you bring
- 2+ years of inspection in a machine shop or similar environment
- Comfort with micrometers, gauges, and thread inspection
- Clear written notes and the confidence to hold a part that is not right
